What is Gestalt Relational Psychotherapy?

Gestalt Relational Psychotherapy is a form of therapy that takes the therapist from being an observer to an active participant via dialogue. It is through relating by honestly meeting each other as we are, without judgement, that you can rediscover and expand your sense of self.

How does Jason use Gestalt?

Through compassionate dialogue, curiosity, and spontanaiety I can bring your words, actions, thoughts, and movements into awareness. These all played a part in forming the creative ways that helped you write your own story. It's through this awareness that we can have a closer look into whether those same patterns play a useful role in the here and now.

My goal isn't to tell you what to do, or how to change—rather, our mutual goal is to help you find the support to live and accept your being as a whole. It is in the act of meeting each other at our boundaries that we are both able to learn and grow. We can open ourselves up to the process of healing by integrating these varying parts of ourselves.
